Biography
An actress who gives her best in the theatre and who through films has also won the admiration of a broader audience. It is no coincidence she has won five David di Donatello awards as Best Actress for "Mi manda Picone", 1984, "Segreti Segreti", 1985, "L'inchiesta", 1987, "Celluloide", 1996 and for "Vite strozzate", 1996.
With a career filled with TV commitments, as well as working in the theatre and in films, she made her debut on stage in 1976, co-starring with Mariano Rigillo and Angela Pagano in "Masaniello", directed by Armando Pugliese. Her cinematographic debut instead came a year later with the TV production "Gli ultimi tre giorni".
Directed Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, in 1983 she played the step-daughter in Pirandello’s "Sic characters in search of an author". A performance that for the first time saw a woman win the Curcio Prize.
Gifted with sensuality, as well as a warm and husky voice, she is also an excellent singer. Her most recent appearance in a film entitled "Briganti" dates back to 1999. In 2001 she co-starred in a two part TV fiction for RaiDue called "Nessuno escluso", directed by Massimo Spano.
