Biography
Having graduated from the "Paolo Grassi" Drama School, in 2000/ 2001 he played Kostja in A. Checov’s "The Seagull" directed by Eimuntas Nekrosius, and thanks to this performance and the role played in Fausto Paradivino’s ‘Natura Morta in un Fosso’ he won the "2002 Ubu Award” as Best Young Actor.
In 2004 he performed the monologue "Il Grigio" by Giorgio Gaber, for the Piccolo Theatre in Milan, directed by Serena Sinigaglia. For this performance he won the "Premio Olimpico del Teatro" (2004 ETI Prize) and the Annibale Ruccello Award (2004).
Among others he has also worked with directors such as Gigi Dall’Aglio, Ferdinando Bruni, Armando Punzo and Gabriele Vacis.
In the cinema he has worked for Silvio Soldini in "Pane e tulipani" and in "Agata e la tempesta". He also acted in "Miracolo a Palermo" directed by Beppe Cino, in "E ridendo l’uccise" directed by Florestano Vancini, and in "Te lo leggo negli occhi" directed by Valia Santella.
He has read Ivan Turgenev’s novel "Fathers and Sons" for Radio Rai (Il Terzo Anello).
