One of the best Italian jazz pianists, he boast solid academic training having graduated from the "S. Cecilia" Conservatory in Rome. Among his many concerts and recordings it is worth remembering those with Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Bob Berg, Michael Breker, Billy Cobam, Aldo Romano, Dave Liebman, Joe Lovano, etc. Among others he also played with Giovanni Tommaso’s quintet "Lingomania" (Top jazz 1987). He has held concerts in France, England, the USA, India, Senegal and China. Together with drummer Roberto Gatto he recorded "Improvvisi" (Gala Records). He is currently the co-leader for the "DOCTOR 3" Trio (with Enzo Pietropaoli and Fabrizio Sferra), one of Italy’s most successful groups. His performances also include the classical circuit, when he also performed as a soloist in Roberto De Simone’s work "Requiem for PierPaolo Pasolini" at the San Carlo theatre in Naples directed by Zoltan Pesko and also in an ensemble at the "Rossini" theatre in Pesaro during the "Rossini Opera Festival", part of the "Rossini mon amour" project; a performance in a duet with Roberto Gatto during a jazz programme at Rome’s Opera theatre and again in Rome at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica for the "Lirico" programme.
