Biography
Natasha Radojcic-Kane was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1966. When she was eighteen she moved to New York, where she has lived since she graduated from Columbia University. She currently earns a living by teaching physical education. She is friends with Azar Nafisi, the author of Lolita in Teheran.
Her first novel, You don’t Have to Live Here, was published in the United States in 2002. Presented in Italy at the Turin Book Fair, it won the 2004 Grinzane Cavour prize for foreign fiction. Her second novel instead was published first in Italy and is still not out in America. Her third novel is soon to be published in Italy.
