Biography
Javier Girotto was born in Cordoba (Argentina) in 1965 and started to study the saxophone when he was ten years old, a passion that resulted in a specialisation at the Cordoba Provincial Conservatory where he graduated as a music teacher. He then moved to Boston where he graduated in Professional Music" cum magna Laude" at the Berkley College of Music.
He has played with Hal Crook, George Garzone, Marcello Pellitteri, Danilo Perez, Bob Moses, Herb Pomeroy, Bill Pierce, Tony Lada, Jim Kelly, Bob Mintzer, Steve Turre, Tony Scott, Tony Hart, Roy Hardgroove, Antonello Salis, Bruno Biriaco and Massimo Nunzi.
